Ģitārists Marks Jonatans Runds ir gatavs prezentēt jaunu, vēl nedzirdētu mūziku – kompozīcijas, kas tapušas šogad, mākslinieku rezidencē Varšavā, leģendārajās studentu kojās “Dziekanka”. Šis laiks pagājis intensīvās studijās pie poļu ģitāras grandiem Rafal Sarnecki un Marek Napiorkowski, un jaunradītajā mūzikā dzirdamas gan viņu ietekmes, gan arī nospiedumi no tādiem avotiem kā Thelonious Monk, Mercury Rev un Olivier Messiaen.
Marks uz skatuves kāps kopā ar domubiedriem un spilgtiem jaunās džeza paaudzes mūziķiem no sastāviem DZ, Trīne un Inga, Tepat, Ede, Akvalande – īsta draugu un līdzgaitnieku komanda, kas savieno dažādus Latvijas džeza virzienus un skanējumus.

Guitarist Marks Jonatans Runds is ready to present new, previously unheard music – compositions created this year during the artist residency in Warsaw, in the legendary student dormitories “Dziekanka”. This time has been spent in intensive studies with Polish guitar greats Rafal Sarnecki and Marek Napiorkowski, and the newly created music can be heard both their influences and traces from sources such as Thelonious Monk, Mercury Rev and Olivier Messiaen.
Marks will take the stage together with like-minded and bright musicians of the new jazz generation from the bands DZ, Trine and Inga, Tepat, Ede, Akvalande – a real team of friends and associates, connecting various Latvian jazz trends and sounds.
